Yared receives Bright Ideas grant

The Friends of the Lexington Council on Aging awarded a Bright Ideas grant to Reem Yared, founder of Help Around Town, an online job matching service.

The grant is to be used to improve customer service for seniors, enabling seniors without computer access to utilize Help Around Town.

Lexington LifeTimes Writers Reading at Cary Library

The Friends of the Lexington Council on Aging hosted a program of readings by contributors to the winter 2018 and summer 2018 issues of Lexington LifeTimes, A Creative Arts Journal on Dec. 1 at Cary Memorial Library.
